Scanner Device Test

If any of our applications using Scanners or other image capture devices fails to detect or operate with your installed hardware - you may be asked to use this utility to assist us in tracing the source of the issue.

Please copy the attached program into the main installation folder of the software concerned - for example PDF-XChange PRO would normally be installed to this location on your hard drive:

C:\Program Files\Tracker Software\PDF-XChange 3 Pro\pdfSaver

Once this has been done - please start the program :

TestScan.exe (double click with your mouse) - This will identify any devices installed and run 2 different scanning methods possible to allow us to identify any specific issues with your scanner or drivers and determine how best to resolve them.

From the menu item 'Test' - please run all three tests - the results will be shown in the application window as the source check and scan test takes place - once complete - please save the results of all 3 tests into a single log text file using the File Menu, Save option and then zip and upload the text file to your original message as a reply.
