I should never have upgraded to v3.6

At my wits end!

What used to work beautifully in my earlier version, now will not work as it should.

If I set the SaveInfo values like this:-

SaveInfo.FullFileName = PdfSavePath
SaveInfo.ShowSaveDialog = 0
SaveInfo.SaveType = PDFXCV3_SAVETYPE_SAVEPDF
SaveInfo.WhenExists = PDFXCV3_WHENEXISTS_OVERWRITE
SaveInfo.App_Run = 0
SaveInfo.App_Params = ''

THEN the output is generated into my pdfprinter default folder, and NOT where I try to tell it with a full drive\path\filename which is in variable PdfSavePath.

How can I get this v3.6 driver to save to the path other than the default?

This is using CW6.3.9055 Legacy.
There was no way I could get pxcDrv36.inc to work in legacy, so have had to revert to pdfxdv35.inc but cannot get past the storing in the wrong folder.

Hi griffo!

The older class files will not work with the new template.

Please go back to using the template and class files I provided you yesterday, generate your program, and zip up the CLW file that contains the problem code and post it here.

Seeing the code in situ will help me to resolve your problem more quickly.

Hi Craig

I will put together a small app in the next day or two and send it.
Problem is, I am now NOT using the templates. There was no way I could get that to work in a legacy multi dll CW6.3 app. I did get pxcdrv36 to compile.

I rolled back to pdfxdv30.inc to get it to write to the requested folder.

Hi griffo!

I don't understand then. Why are you using OMIT coding if the code you are using is hand-generated?

As you are hand-coding, you need to know some things then.

The Driver isn't as simple as it once was. In particular it is now necessary to WAIT for the Driver to post an event to the Clarion program.

Just send me a CLW file that sets up the driver so I can see how you're coding it and I can quickly tell you what you need to do.

Please post the code & the reply because there are other hand-coders out there :)

Hi Julian!

There is no code because griffo never responded to my request for his CLW file containing the Driver calls.

I need to see that CLW file because, with hand-coding, what to code and where to put it isn't cut-and-dried.

Post or email me your CLW file and I'l show you what to add by altering it. Then you'll know what to do in the future, assuming you do all your hand-codes the same way.

Hi hmpromotion,

how can we help you if you don't know the problem? What are you trying to do and what results are you seeing that is a problem? This thread is almost 5 years old. I'm not sure what you need from us.
