Word sample VBA/macro

Post by SteveN » Sat Jan 01, 2005 1:01 pm

Is there any sample code for adding an option to Word (and Excel) to convert the displayed document to PDF and save it in a named location?

We need this functionality to save Word/Excel files into our Document Management software.

We would like a menu item and/or toolbar button to "Save to DM..."

Sorry - other than Word example provided there are no examples available for this.

I am afraid our expertise is very much in the area of PDF creation rather than MS Office - you will need to look on MSDN or other NG's for this.

Also - please ensure you do understand our licensing as applications which provide extensive functionality for the conversion of MS Office files and are compete/or are priced at a level to compete with our own general end user products are specifically outside of the Developer licensing terms - if you have any doubts about this - suggest you email us with a description of your intended use and pricing info so we can advise and help you avoid conflicts.

If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.

Best regards
