Bug in printer driver

Post by CodeMonkey » Wed Feb 14, 2007 8:49 pm

I am using the the xchange printer driver from with word 2000 to produce a pdf. the word document contains hyperlinks.

if the hyprelink is prefixed with http:// then the link gets converted into an
annotation link in the pdf. IF however the link does not begin with http:// then the printer driver simple converts if to blue underlined text.

And before you ask..yes all my settings are correct, and the anyalise links option is set.

can anyone help?

this issue is very very very important as i have done a lot of work integrating xchange into my application, and to find out at this late stage
that is does not work is a night-mare

Steven

Please supply a sample .doc file and the PDF created (please zip any files uploaded) and we wil investigate.

However - it is highly unlikely that this is a bug in PDF-XChange and far more likely that the issue is with settings in Word or some anomally in your code or string.

I have tested this here and it works perfectly using the latest build of PDF-XChange (3.60111) - please see attached.
