Can't uninstall v3 (latest version)

Can't uninstall v3 (latest version)

I downloaded and installed your latest version of TIFF-Xchange and now I can't uninstall it. I have a license for v2 and when I try to re-install v2 after removing v3 I am still getting the updated option menu for v3 and the "gear" symbol is printing on all my pages.

How can I fully remove v3 so I can use v2 again?

This is on a computer running Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 2.

If you need more info let me know.

Hi,

Have you uninstalled via the control panel 'Add/Remove' programs option and then ensured you rebooted your PC ?
If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.

Yes, I removed through Add/Remove Programs and rebooted the computer.

Hi Ian,

Please ensure you have no TIFF-XChange printer in your printers list (if so delete)

Then

Please search your windows primary folder and sub folder and delete all files like :

TIFFDRV*.*
xctiff*.*

Then reboot and try again.

Should not be necessary - but seems windows is not fully uninstalling these.

We needed the machine back up sooner rather then later so we ended up re-imaging it.

Also, in another thread I saw mention of you swapping out people's v2 serial numbers for v3 serial numbers? Is this true?

What information do you need from me?
