Found another related bug. When I try to delete the newly imported layer it remains visible (and unswitchable) despite its entry being deleted from the layer panel.

I understand that automatic joining of different sub-sets is not (easily) possible. From a user's perspective both paragraphs used exactly the same font, there was no hin...

Restoring the last document view seems broken in V9?! Now it does not restore any view at all, all documents are opened to their very first page. Happens with both automatic and manual session loading.

I have to use said third party utility "Groupy", because Editor still does not offer search results per tab. It is also nice having thematically sorted windows, so Groupy and Editor fit well together. Here is the result without using "Groupy", same problem. https://i.imgur.com/yv...

"Redo" to recreate a deleted layer does not seem to work properly
Steps to reproduce:
- Import a page as new layer over another page.
- Switch layer off/on = works.
- Delete layers.
- Redo.

Different workarounds: 1) Import page 2 as a new layer over page 1. Zoom to whatever area you need to. Switch the new layer on/off for comparison. This essentially does what you need. 2) Enable the "Loupe Tool". Set it to whatever zoom level and (box) size you need. Place the mouse to the ...

One drawback of this is that this does not work with the free version, whereas "Split document" does.

Also take notice that the document is using Type1 fonts. If you print this to a new PDF file Editor will discard the font information entirely and instead draw a new font that does not link displayed letters to keyboard characters anymore. So watch out for that, too.
