I like Xchange Viewer much more than Adobe Acrobat. But this worse rendering is really annoying.

OK, no problem. Have a look at the attached pdf.
In Pdf Xchange Viewer the highlight text appears black font on red background (=ok).
In Foxit Reader (v5.0) the highlighted text appears red font on red background (=bad).

When I use it in some pdf docs then the ends are bowed outwards (this is somehow acceptable) but in other pdf docs they are bowed inwards (this looks odd).
