Re: 【bug report】file size becomes much bigger after comment
No expert but without seeing the original file it's hard to say but start by checking the resolution that you have the driver set to. Also check if the PDF-XChange Viewer is set to Print As Image. When you print to a print driver through Windows the images are sent out as the dpi of the printer driv...

Matt, I can tell you I've been running it on Windows 8 on a Samsung ATIV smart PC Model 500T1C-A04 with Windows 8 (full not the RT version) and it's not too bad. Re: XChange vs. Adobe Pro: 10x File size when scanning
Did this never get fixed? In the latest version I'm seeing the same problem. The file size the PDF-XChange Viewer is making for a color is 12.68 MB. PDFTool4 is 1.28 using the same TWAIN scanner and settings. The problem also exists for the WIA driver for this same scanner. The PDFTools one for the ...

I've seen this with the Arial font and it appears to have to do with font temporary files not being cleaned up by Adobe when I'm also testing things in their reader. Check once if in your fonts list if it lists some weird temporary font names or if changing the font to a different font solves it. No...

Check out www.xenocode.com and with their Application Studio ISV Version you can wrap it into your exe to prevent problems like this with any ActiveX control. It's not cheap I think around $1500 but we've had good luck with it and it's far cheaper than Thinstall which was bought out by VMWare.

It looks like it's actually a page in the PDF. When combining the PDF's in Adobe I think they give you an option of showing the first page of the first file or using their generic cover page I guess you would call it. If opened in Adobe Reader you never see the cover page. It opens into the first fi...
