HI meho_r fear not, the issue is not restricted to Linux/Wine. In a Windows environment this can be recreated by switching to Full screen, zooming with CTRL++ and then scrolling. We have a work item to investigate this and I am hopeful that the resulting fix also fixes PDF-XChange Viewer under wine ...

buying a license will indeed allow you to scan without adding water marks. Do note however that it will not remove watermarks from documents already created. These cannot be removed.
