Thank you Stefan for your proposal!
In my case however, I use the Properties toolbar all the time (probably about every two minutes) -- so I'd prefer having it immediately accessible all the time.
(...ideally only when something is selected of course:)
Cheers & keep up the great work

Re: How to import settings in V7?
Hi @all, To be clear: V7 uses the same settings from V6. Both versions uses the same settings. Excepting one - currently the V7 ONLY doesn't support the toolbars customization that was made in V6. BUT all other settings are supported and used by V7 as well. Could it be that also custom keyboard shor...

It appears that the Properties Toolbar will bulldoze other regular toolbars, but not the ones you create yourself as shown here. I found that the Properties toolbar (marked green, right) first displaces/compresses other toolbars (also user-created toolbars, here marked blue-ish on the left): https:...

At least with the Properties toolbar, it might be because of it's size. Depending on what object you have selected, there can be a fairly large number of icons. OK so now I have re-created almost my entire customizations. Just for fun, I tried to make a maximum space saving UI with v.7:

Come on Willy
this has been discussed ad nauseam in the four threads mentioned in #9 above.
It is clear that the file has to be closed for a split second (or saved as under the new name and the old file deleted) in order to be "renamed while open".
