I'm asking because our method of working with files (via CreateFileMapping, MapViewOfFile, etc. API functions) cause troubles with some AV programs (for example McAfee).

Trouble is because Delphi shows error message even if this error is handled into try...catch section, if you run programm from Delphi IDE.
Solution for this - turn off handling such type of error into Delphi.

Say, the viewer isn't loaded. You select some files (do you use Explorer, or other tools like Total Commander or FAR?), choose Open with PDF-XChange Viewer. Viewer starts or not ?
