Way to override open for any supported file type
Is there a way to override the open button to always have the filter for any supported file type? I know how to make a NEW button or command that will do it, but it seems redundant since there is always an open button within the standard GUI.

I deleted the manifest files and it worked. It seems if I had the DLL registered AND I had the manifest file it was causing problems. That is why the sample program(no manifest) worked and the service(manifest) did not.
I'll have to get a clean machine and try only one option.

Worked with your developers to figure it out. Was just a stupid mistake.
The CORE API .Init(string) function only has one parameter.
The EditorSDK API .Init function has many more, needed to pass .Init(null,devKey).
Simple mistake on my part from cut and paste.
