Re: Rendering issue for complex script with embedded TTF fon

Hello RamNarayan S,

Just a quick update on this issue. We are aware of it and work has started on resolving such problems with embedded TT Fonts. We expect to have this fixed in V3 of the Viewer due for release on 31 May 2012.

Hi Jeff, So is he doing all this in your application or using some other third party tools as well? If yes - do you have anything extra in the code that could be adding the size of the file at it's end, and is he using the latest build of your app? Or maybe that user is using some document managemen...

I don't have the technical details but these forms are using some features that we don't properly support at the moment. I will see if I can get some more specific information on the actual problem for you.

Hello Peter, We do support XFA forms on around maybe 80% - and are working hard to cover the remaining 20% as well. After speaking with my colleagues last night - it turns out that XFA support would be worked on in v3 - and no significant changes will be done in v2 for now. So lets see how v3 will r...

Re: copy content into word

Hello Marc,

For the moment the Viewer will only allow you to copy the text part of a PDF - you could try the
"Convert PDF to .RTF/.DOC/.TXT" feature in our PDF Tools - this will allow you to convert images as well.

Re: copy content into word

Hello Marc,

If your document is image based you will need to OCR it first:
How do I OCR a document?

And then you should be able to copy and paste text into word.

In some cases our formatting of the pasted text could be worse than that of Adobe but we are working on improving it :)

Hello sorentoft78,

There is no way for you to do this directly in the Viewer - so you will need your usual image manipulation software to apply the mirroring and you can then insert this image in your PDF File using our Viewer.

When The Viewer prompts you for the password - you can capture the

Hello Marco,

"Any CPU" will not work - so make sure to compile the sample for Win32 - and to copy the x86 version of netlib40.dll and dscrt40.dll in the same folder where your .exe is (there is a dependency between the two dlls - so make sure that both are included).
