It seems like the problem is due to the "thin lines" option.
You can switch this option ON or OFF, with CTRL + 5
When trying this in PDF-XChange Viewer, you will immediately see the difference.

Yes, you can rename an already existing settings-file to whatever you like, and you can use as many settings files as you like (one by a time of course).

When you pass via Customize Toolbars > Commands > All commands > Next Page > Properties, followed by OK and Close, then it works correctly.
