Re: PDF-XChange Viewer and McAfee

Hi Devic, I was actually able to get an answer quicker than I thought :) As I suspected, the Dev. Team said that it's an issue with McAfee, so for the future, if there's ever a concern that a download may have a virus, then you can use the following link, which uses 46 different security application...

Re: PDF-XChange Viewer and McAfee

Hi Devic, Welcome to the forum and thanks for your post! :) This actually something that I have personally experienced on my personal computer, though not with any of our software. I'll have a look into this, and will talk to the Dev. Team, get their thoughts on it, but I suspect that this is just a...

Re: PDF-XChange Editor Rendering Issues

Hi gate1975mlm, Thanks for the post and the offer - unfortunately all further releases will only be available to (all) Users when publicly released, or so I have been informed by the Dev. Team here. If this changes, one of us will let you know :-) so you already have access to the latest CR release ...

Re: PDF-XChange Editor Rendering Issues

Hi HOTGA, Thanks for getting back to us with that, I've taken a look and see exactly what you're saying - it's total gibberish! I'll forward this the Dev. Team to take a look at. It could well be that this because it is a Candidate release, and not fully featured/functional yet, and has been fixed f...

Hi Allen,

Thanks for you post and question - all of our products are Windows 8 Certified, so you should have no problems running them :-)

Hope that helps!

Re: Problem printing to PDF-XChange v5.0.266 Lite

Hi Gary, thanks for giving us the go ahead with that, however I'm not sure that Paul will be able to do that time - he's heading our Australian office in Melbourne, so is about 16hrs ahead of you. Once he clocks in, I'll talk to him about this and we'll see what we can do to get you going and resolv...

Re: Change E-Mail Adress

Hi Mr. Nice Guy, As per our email, we are also unable to change your email - it says that the address is already in use, but upon searching the database for the address, it says it doesn't exist. We have placed a ticket for this issue with our Web Developers, and ask for your patience and understand...

Re: text selection tool objects not operating

Hi Gerard, Thanks for letting me know - the next thing I need to know is, what specifically are you 'printing' to .pdf from word? Is there anything that may be imaged based, and so requires a thorough 'OCRing?' Also, I'll need a sample document in order to test this myself; could I please get a sour...

Re: text selection tool objects not operating

Hi Gerard, Thanks for the post - it could be an issue with an old Build. Can I get you to check that you have the latest Build and Version of the Viewer (Version 2.5, Build 207)? To check this, go to the Help tab, Click "About" and you should see the Version and Build info. If you don't ha...

Re: Command Line Option Using PDF-XChange Viewer Pro

Hi Luc, Unfortunately, it's not something that would be practicle for us to implement at this time. I'm sorry that this probably isn't what you wanted to hear, but unfortunately we have to balance the "needs of the few, against the needs of the many." If it were something that was simple t...

Re: Command Line Option Using PDF-XChange Viewer Pro

Hi again LucDesjardins,

I've just spoken and with our project eveloper, and he's told me that, unfortunately, there isn't a way that you can do this.

Sorry that I couldn't bring you good news, but I do hope that it answers you question, at the very least!

Re: Command Line Option Using PDF-XChange Viewer Pro

Hi LucDesjardins,

Thanks for your post! There is no command line option to do this, but I'm not sure about the Javascript, I'll have to ask one of our Developers and get back to you on that!
