Re: Memory + Disk cache issues
Since the forum seems to eat posts at the moment, here is what I asked in my last post: Will the new user setting for memory cache also fix the issue of the cache being flushed as soon as 30 seconds after it was built up? And what about the disc cache? In what folder/path is it supposed to be writte...

I don't think that this depends on the specific document. Last time it happened with a newly created (printed to PDF) document. Today I tried all three ways of recreating this, printed via X-Change, via Primo and using the internal PDF creation of the software used. None of these reproduced the issu...

Yes, you mentioned that in January. No need to hurry, once I noticed the differences between Medium and High I knew how to work with these. Adobe Acrobat really is on the forefront of OCR nowadays, even beating dedicated OCR applications. But you sure pay a steep price for that (money that is).

He will still have to look into the "Preserve original white spaces" bug for the normal (non edit) text selection tool then. And the presence of this option seems to suggest that there are original white spaces in PDFs?! At least Adobe Reader has no problems copying these.

The Color Management -> Grayscale setting only offers two options on my system: Black & White and Gray Gamma 2.2. Black & White is not B/W at all, but a visibly lighter gray compared to Gray Gamma 2.2. Gray Gamma 2.2 is slighter darker than Adobe Reader DC's rendering. This is not a problem,...

Window -> New Document Window
Same document in as many tabs as you like. Tabs are even synchronized, so any edit/change you do in one tab is reflected in the other tabs.
I didn't know this feature existed until just now. Took me some seconds to find out about it.

I think I posterd somewhere that Adobe Reader pre-renders up to 8 pages in the direction you last used, depending on how much idle time you spent on the current page (more pre-rendering if you stay on a page reading, less if you flip quickly).
