In the feature list of "Image-XChange SDK" I found this info:

Apply filters: Despeckle, Deskew, DustScratch, Matrix, Median, Noise

But I don't find this two features in the documentation. Can you tell me, how I can use Despeckle and Deskew on an image?

But Image-XChange 4 SDK is an old product and the quality of deskew is very bad instead of this OCR-DLL

Hi,

we use your OCR-DLL with Deskew-function. Great feature!
But now we need to correct the skew in scanned images without OCR.

So, please how can I skew an image only (without OCR)?
Is there a way to do this? Maybe with your other X-Change-SDK-Tools?

yes using the PDF Tools SDK and the Drivers

I can't realy believe that.

If I try to print any already seachable PDF (after scan) , the result is a image only pdf (without searchable text-layer!). So the possiblility to seach is erased.

What do I wrong please?

Is there a way in combination with your viewer SDK or with the Printer Driver or any other way to save a searchable PDF as PDF/A?

OK, but what now? I need this function for my application very urgent and John says in April approx. 8-10 weeks. Meanwhile my application is ready to release but waiting for this litte but very necessary feature. Because this is n not a "nice to have feature". Thus you will agree with me. :?

I'm not sure if I understood you correctly. Before I call "Sign Document", I have an unsigned 'digital signature' field to add?

Strange but how do I do that? In the instructions I found no command to do this?

I have downloaded the newest version of ocrtools.dll (v1.0.14).

But now, only 2 pages will be generated.

With my old version 1.0.9.1 all pages be generated.

I use exatcly the same key (code) and my key is not blocked!

original file size: 528KB
after OCR with Acrobat: 825KB (300KB more than original PDF)
after OCR with DLL: 1,23 MB (more than double size than original PDF)

attached a very small example for you. Size of "test.pdf" is 114KB. After OCR with Acrobat the size is 124KB (only 10KB more). But with the OCR DLL more than 7 times larger then the original file = 817KB. *hope this little example will already help you, because other documents are too big ...
