The property pane changes between tabs, the thumbnail pane changes between tabs, the content pane changes between tabs, the bookmark pane changes between tabs. Please make the search pane change between tabs, too, as in keeping the results per tab intact.

Actually Editor's CPU load (one process) is slightly higher than Adobe (3 processes). It could be argued that 3 processed are better served to multiple CPU cores. But I am fine with both. Ah, I thought this was a general shortcut that saves going through the options manually. In that case I will just switch everything to solid, because I sometimes remote access my desktop via Teamviewer or Splashtop.

I have to ask directly: What is keeping you from offering "per tab" search results? It works for the left panel (thumbnails, content, etc), so it should work for the right panel as well.

I am still getting a mixture of grayscale and Cleartype anti-aliasing for text, one page using the former and another page using the latter. Adobe Reader renders all pages using Cleartype, including the ones where XChange drops back to grayscales.

My current workaround is to use PDF Tools for extracting unblurred images, but obviously this is not very convenient when you only need single images out of a large PDF file.

The whole search needs an overhaul. It's still not possible to do different searches in different tabs. Once you change search options, search words or even search results in one tab it applies to all other tabs as well. The only way to workaround this is to use separate windows per document instead...

Time to return to this thread. I did not specifically test image smoothing in document view lately, but image smoothing still is applied to images that are copied or saved out of XChange. Adobe Reader does not smooth images that are copied out of it, even when smoothing is enabled via its rendering ...

Why are images from within XChange pasted as images, but outside ones are pasted as stamps?
And to clarify: The "does not work" ppi range means that any image with ppi higher or lower is handled properly by OCR Medium.

Instead of deleting the whole ICC profile you could tell Windows not to use it (it will use sRGB then). This way you at least had a choice if you need it later on.
