Re: Tries to connect to 92.123.68.97 on startup

Ok, Paul :) Maybe I should be more explicit. Just to be sure, that you don't use another version of the installer, I'm using also PDFX4_wV.exe. Its MD5 hash is 1660FF21C3928E848C79E1A2A5DC4D28 The problem is, that the file "live.png", which should contain the icon for the MSN Live search provider is...

Hi Paul, hi mboucetta, I just tried it with a fresh installation on a virtual machine. Re: Have we forgotten or missed a bug you reported ?

Hi, I think it wasn't reported before - and actually it's more a PDF-XChange issue. It came with the integration of the viewer into the PDF-XChange package. The names of the components in the installation process aren't helpful at all and a new user will probably not know, what to select if he likes...

Hey - I saw the preview and couldn't resist to make a new icon for my pdfs.
May you consider to provide as alternative to the blue one the one used for pdfs at the preview?

Very nice screenshots, I think I like the new layout from what I saw ;)

1. If your customer hasn't got access to the internet, the search providers are completely useless for him, since they permit searching terms on the internet, directly from the viewer. Akamai isn't a search provider. 1. Yes, it's normal. 2. It's because of the new feature of using internet search engines from within the viewer. At startup, the viewer tries to get the corresponding favicons for the installed search providers. 3. To avoid this, - either delete all your search providers (to get rid of the predefine...
