All I can get with the Polish programmer's keyboard is ą and ę by using Shift ` + ae. As you say, AltGr + a, e, l, n, o doesn't work in PDF-XChange. Try the Polish (214) keyboard, which uses the top row with AltGr as dead keys — that seems to work OK though I haven't tested it thoroughly. My Pali ke...

No problem here typing Latin Extended-A or Latin Extended Additional characters. I use a customised Windows keyboard that uses dead keys to type accented characters. Alter + Codepoint only works up to 0255 (ANSI character set). I managed OK to type with the Polish 214 keyboard. How are you trying to...

Agreed. A lot of applications make this mistake, but Control plus -/= would still require two hands or a difficult stretch with one hand.

Why not simply use the +/= keys on the Numeric Keypad without the Control modifier?

Control + scroll up/down already does zoom in and out.

Default zoom is the field above the one you highlighted. I have Default page view set to "Last used view."

Thanks for the prompt feedback. Don't you guys get a holiday?

That worked for me. Glad to hear that it is not a bug.

[BUG] Pan and Zoom on Rotated Pages

Open any PDF file in build 024
Rotate the view
Open the Pan and Zoom Window
Try to navigate using the blue rectangle.

IIRC, the viewer used to remember the zoom level

In build 024, the viewer now remembers the page but not the zoom level. Have I missed something, or remembered wrongly?

I don't know what is going on with Table lines here. If I produce a PDF from OpenOffice with hairlines (0.05pt) then they display OK in PDF-XChange, though the top line looks thinner than the others at 200% zoom — they are all the same width when I zoom right in. If I open the attached file in PageP...

[Issue] Document Properties

In the document properties dialogue the various information fields such as Title, Author, Keywords, etc., can be selected but not edited. This seems like a bug to me. If they cannot be edited, the fields should not be edit fields, or should be greyed out. Are there some PDF files where these fields ...

1. Not that I know of. You can go to the first page easily enough, or use the Bookmarks to return to the Table of Contents, but not to find a specific point, except with Go to page number.

2. Edit, Preferences, General, Reopen Document to Last View.

Update doesn't seem to be applied properly. Help, About still shows 021 and Check for udates again finds the 022 update. The \updates\ folder contains one file dated 16/7/07 and running that setup manuallly also gives the same result — still build 021. Version number in Explorer properties is 021 Fi...

Are there any browser plugins for PDF X-Change Viewer?

Are there any plans to develop plugins for Firefox or Opera?

We will update the revisions list later today/tomorrow with the list of updates, new features and fixes. Where can we find this revisions list? Since PDF-XChange Viewer is still undergoing frequent revision and updates, it might help us to offer more useful feedback if we could see a history of fea...

Multiple Document Bug

Select ten PDF documents in Windows Explorer, then right-click and Open with PDF-XChange Viewer.

Preferences is set to Multiple Documents, Tabbed documents.

The ten documents opened in separate maximized windows, each with one tab.

Open one document, then drag and drop the other nine works fine.

Hi, In the "Check for update" function, is it possible to only download the files that need to be updated but not the whole setup file? 10 Mbytes is a lot to download on dial-up, but I suspect that it is harder for the developers to offer a patch than the whole setup package. There may also be chan...

Bluenode: Control + Scrollwheel zooming doesn't affect page scrolling. Dynamic zoom would be great. The loupe is an excellent tool to use instead at the moment. Left Button + Scrollwheel would be even better than Control + Scrollwheel — one hand is easier than two. The Pan and Zoom Window would be e...

 I just came to report the same problem. It seems to render a lot better in PagePlus X2 than it does in PDF-XChange even though the fonts are missing. OK in Adobe Reader 7.0 too.

Perhaps it has something to do with the embed flag on the fonts?
