Hi Alan! Before getting wound up with OCR, I suggest you look at our PDF-Tools 4.1 package which produces searchable PDF files directly from the WMF files produced by the Clarion Report Engine. PDF-Tools 4.1 is a drop-in solution. You add the Global template to the application and then add the Proce...

Re: C9 compile errors when using PDF Compression

Hi Tonly! Years ago Larry Teames decided that he wanted to write his own "interpretation" of how to access PDF-Tools version 2.5 through his templates instead of allowing us to embed our code in the Convert to PDF code. This only works if you are using the old 2.5 class files as Larry didn't bother ...

Hi Parps! OK, the DLL problem is because Clarion DLL's aren't version independent as C++ Windows DLL's can be version independent. 2xEXE problem is that "handles" are memory pointers but the EXE memory spaces are different. They have to be. The guy who is doing C6 Viewer EXE with C9 Program EXE is t...

Hi!

Simply unzip the file into your 3rdparty\Template or accessory\template depending on Clarion version.

Re: Missing something simple

Hi Rocky!

ZERO?! It should be a positive number from 1 up to 4095. No wonder nothing is printing!

Check the DocID after OpenDocument - that must be a valid DocID (1-4095). If it isn't the document has not opened correctly.

Also, double-check List1:Queue.PdfFileName and make sure it exists.
