Re: Plan for Chrome plugin when npapi support ends?

Hi Claude, I'm afraid that we will not be offering a way to view PDF's in Chrome. As mentioned in a previous post, the API that they provide is extremely limiting and very, very buggy. The best that we can manage is the same as Adobe: we'll offer a plugin that will automatically open the PDF in our...

Re: Plan for Chrome plugin when npapi support ends?

... I'm going to bring this up at our next support meeting, next week, to see if we have a more definitive answer, or even a definitive "No, it can't be done" to provide users. Thanks, Is there a "definitive" answer on this? Chrome's internal PDF viewer gets you to a point, but it's light years fro...

Re: PDF-XChange Editor Plus V6

Suggestion for a work-around: Is it possible to use a numeric field with decimals, instead of a percentage ? You could put the "%" symbol at the right of the form field. You can do the same way with currency symbols, by putting them at the left of the form field. Best regards. Great idea !! Thanks....

Re: PDF-XChange Editor Plus V6 - % display

A form field defined as Number will initially display blank until a value is entered. A form field defined as Percentage will initially display 0% (with decimals if so defined), even if no value has been entered, instead of blank. I believe formatting should kick in only when a value is entered by t...

Re: PDF-XChange Editor Plus V6 - 'reset form' affects R/O fi

I've created a field (FIELD-A) in a form so that I can change, as the author, its value over time. I also included on the form a 'reset form' button for the user to wipe out his cha...

Re: PDF-XChange Editor Plus V6

Hi Claude, I believe that this is because only the data contained in the form is exported, rather than the particular properties of that field. This means that $125.50 would be converted to 125.5, due to the field's properties specifying a general number format, to 1 decimal place. I believe that t...

In the Edit Forms mode, it is possible, by right clicking a field, to toggle tab numbers. It would be great if this also gave the option to toggle label names. Re: cmd.document.OCRPages not launching anything

This issue has a strange behavior for me. Cancelling an OCR command will not always crash the Editor. When it does, it does so after a certain delay (~ 5 secs?). After cancelling the OCR, I'm able to perform other commands on the same document then, all of a sudden, the Editor's process gets killed.

Re: Cannot clear digital signature

Just purchased Pro 5.5 (build 316.1) and am having the same issue as initial poster. I'm a bit concerned that it's been 4 months without an answer.

If I'm the author of a document (not sure how I can attest to that within PDFXchange editor), I should be able to clear my own digital signatures.
