Re: Measuring tool

Hi Robert, If you open the "Scale -> Set Measures" window you will see there are two arrow buttons in there that would allow you to move the selected scale preset up and down the list. Those are currently inactive so it seems like this feature is not yet implemented but it will be added in a future ...

Re: Printer driver

Hi jsjag1990,

Glad to hear you got a reply from your scanner vendor!
I hope that the routine they recommended will install 64 bit TWAIN drivers, and this will solve your problem with scanning through the Viewer/Editor as well.

Looking forward to your feedback how it went!

Regards,
Radi

Re: Printer driver

Hello jsjag1990, I believe the problem is with your printer's drivers. Please check if you have a 32 or 64-bit version installed. Most of the applications are 32-bit and that is why they can see and work with your 32-bit TWAIN drivers. The Viewer is a native 64-bit application and it simply cannot w...

Re: Printer driver

Hello jsjag1990, Thank you for the post. I believe that your TWAIN driver is a 32-bit one. Please note that true 64-bit applications cannot work with 32-bit drivers. Please look for a 64-bit TWAIN driver for your new printer and it should work fine. You can find more information on this subject in t...

Re: How To Reduce File Size/Compress a PDF

Hello richard israels, Welcome to the forum. Did you see the discussed above feature of the PDF-XChange Editor, File -> Save Optimized Copy? Re: Ctrl+F4 for closing document

Hello Wilfried, Thank you for the post. The default command to close the current document is Ctrl+W, but you can customize it. Please check out this knowledge base article to find out how: How do I create custom short cut keys for tool bar commands? The screenshots are from the Viewer, but the same ...

Re: PDF-XChange Viewer 2012 - text size of the measuring too

Hello Miho, Welcome to the forum! Unfortunately, there is no way to change the text size of the measuring tools in the Viewer. Since the Viewer is discontinued, no new features will be added in due time. The PDF-XChange Editor has this option available, so please consider upgrading to the Editor. Yo...

Re: Editor toolbars too big for laptop screen

Hello bawldiggle, Thank you for noticing this. Please try moving your mouse around the bottom edge of any toolbar and you will notice that your mouse cursor will change to what appears to be a resize pointer. You can drag this line up and down increasing or decreasing that toolbar's size from 1 to 2...

Re: Which Tracker product/s do I need

Hello Russel, Thank you for your interest in our products. To create PDF files from MS-Word and Libre-Office you need the PDF-XChange Standard printing driver. To edit them you need full version of the PDF-XChange Editor I would recommend buying the PDF-XChange Pro package - it includes both (plus P...
