Re: New Translation tool available!
Thank you. I got the new license and will work on the update. Note that after I sent my translation update initially (and I received no reply) some new version appeared. Since my installation was then locked to free features I could not do a good test. Some suggestions: There is always a confusion f...

selection of language(s) upon installation
It would be nice to have in the PDF-XChange installer an option to pick which languages one wants to be installed. This is usual in other software and, given the increasing and large number of supported languages and modules, it will be good to avoid tens of files (which I will never use) being put ...

Hello support I have been trying to send you the update of Spanish translation but my emails did not raise a response (as it used to happen very quickly in previous times). I sent my email and files on July 29th, Aug. 5th and again today Aug. 20th Could you please confirm what the situation is? Are ...

Re: No instructions locatable for inserting U3D into PDF
Thanks, Will
Yes, it seems that adding the 3D Annotation (u3d file) to an existing pdf document is a free feature.
Adding it to a new blank document is only available for the licensed version (due to the creation of a blank document being a pro feature)

Re: No instructions locatable for inserting U3D into PDF
With Editor version 8.0.332 (registered, but not Plus version) I can insert U3D files successfully via the top menu, The process is straightforward. This is a WONDERFUL feature. If you are using the (classical) Menu mode: Tools > Media tools > Add or edit 3D annotations If you are using the Ribbon m...

suggestion for "Delete pages" menu
I find myself often deleting a single page from a document. The current procedure takes at least 4 clicks: menu Document > Delete Pages > Delete Pages... > Current Page > OK http://i66.tinypic.com/sz92io.png I understand this is a destructive action, but even so we have undo, so I'd prefer to have a...

Re: suggestion: a subforum for suggestions / feature requests
Thanks, Stefan I'm afraid I do not agree. I agree the disk space taken is not large, but it's more elegant not to have them.
Also, for me as a translator of Editor, finding the Spanish files among the crowd is rather cumbersome

Oh yes, Daniel. Exactly that!
But one for Editor seems not to exist.
Also, the location of those you show at the bottom of the page and after the "old forums" does not make them obvious to be found. In fact, I did not discover them.

A couple of suggestions for improving the installer: 1. An option to select which languages one wants installed. It's great that Editor includes so many localizations, but I don't need several dozens of files in my hard disk that are for languages I will never use (in the several "Languages&quo...

Re: Do you want to close all opened documents?
Yes, the problem seems to be gone in 322.5
But since I was not sure of the precise situation when it happened, I cannot be 100% sure. I will keep an eye on this and report here if it reappears.
Thanks for the fix

Re: Do you want to close all opened documents?
I am having a similar problem since updating to the latest release, 6.0.322.4. I am using PaleMoon (a Firefox relative that supports NPAPI plugins), with PDF files displayed inside the browser. The problem for me appears some times when I try to close a browser tab that has a pdf document (or change...

Re: Editor Mozilla Browser-Plugin no longer working (NPAPI?)
I am also not willing to give up the convenience of viewing PDFs in the browser using all the functionality of PDF-XChange Editor, and the great option of the bottom-right button to transfer the document from the browser to the stand-alone Editor or --in the few cases it's needed-- to Adobe's viewer...

edit metadata: copyright status (feature request)
The possibility of editing metadata of PDFs is an excellent tool. Under "Additional metadata" there is a "Copyright status" drop-down that only has "Unknown", "Copyrighted" and "Public Domain". I'd like to suggest addition of Creative Commons license...

Re: New translation tool for build 316 SOLVED
Thank you, that helps me complete the Spanish traslation. For #3, the one about pages is clear since it has a long description at the side. For the others I guess it should be "indents", the variable names suggest so and the suggested (former?) translation goes along that meaning. But I pr...

I have suspicion of an original string in Strings.xcl:

Shouldn't that be %1 and %2 ?

Feature request - installer should detect current installati
I've been using PDF-XChange Viewer, then Editor, for a long time and so have updated quite many times. I like to choose my custom target installation folder, but the installer insists every time in proposing its own default. As a result I have ended up with several folders under Programs, and some a...
