.PDF Forms
Hello, I have PDF-XChange PRO since early 2014 and I am happy with it. I need to find out: does tracker-software.com offer a .pdf form software? Those forms in .pdf you see at web sites and you must fill in accurately, good for applications. If such .pdf forms creator/editor cannot be found here, wh...

Digital Rights Management (DRM)
I wish to hear from you, PDF-XChange Editor users, on which DRM software is the best. I do not sell through Amazon or the likes. I wrote several e-books and sell them myself only to see them re-sold on the Net. I tried 'Copy Protect' from the makers of Folder Lock http://www.newsoftwares.net/ some 6...

Upgrades
Hello there, I ran searches for 'upgrade' and 'upgrade policy' but I got nothing, so here is my question. For someone who purchased PDF-XChange PRO at the end of April 2014, is the latest version 5.5.312.0 free? When do PDF Xchange users begin to pay upgrade price and not full price like first time ...

Re: More questions
Hi old.pdf.user, Thanks for the post! 1). In the Set up PDF --> General --> PDF Specification, why is Version 1.4 selected by default?Because lots of people still use old PDF readers? I believe that is indeed the case. 2). If I select Version 1.7, will the new PDF file be somehow better, faster or ...

Re: Questions waiting for the right answers ....
Thank you for replying, but I still need your expert answer to these topics: 1). In the 'Document Metadata' in the ‘Description’ tab what does 'Author title' mean? Is it Dr., Eng., Dipl., Owner, Lessee, Leaser, etc.? 2). What does 'Description Writer' mean? 3). On the right, every field has a dimmed...

Metadata in PDF is an XML stream and the grammar/syntax of this XML is eXtensible Metadata Platform (XMP). More details about XMP can be found here- https://www.adobe.com/products/xmp/ . As you will see - in the metadata, different types of information can be stored. Please note, the Editor does su...

Re: Time span in Certificates
Hello Stefan,
Thank you for your reply.
I hate the idea of re-doing work I have done in the past even if at 10-year intervals, far less at 5-year ones.
I want to do things that last ... longer than the Egyptian pyramids ...
Not to mention that I do not want to start buying certificates now ...

Time span in Certificates
Hi,
I created a Certificate and when I viewed it, I saw it is valid for 5 years.
Why is the default setting 5 years, and how to make it say 10 years?
