this is a known issue Ivan is working on right now.
It should be fixed for 7.0.323.1 due out Monday (all things going to plan of course).

Re: Inverted Black Boxes When Printing From V7
Sure thing, here's a couple examples.
One was generated by our own software (Sage 100 Contractor), the other was sent to me from another company (created using completely different software).

Inverted Black Boxes When Printing From V7
Upgraded to V7 today and suddenly most of the PDF's I'm printing have black boxes on the page where everything has been inverted. Checking "Print as Image" mostly solves the issue, but it's a workaround and not an actual solution to the problem (also, when printing as image it makes all th...

Thank you for the quick response.

Can't Open PDF Files with a Number Sign (#) in the Name SOLVED
I'm not sure if this was an intentional change is the last update.... but we can no longer open pdf files with a number symbol (#) in the file name. After the latest update (Version 5.5, Build 314.0) all of our PDF's with a number sign in the name give the following error when opened: "Error [O...

Re: Cannot Open Hyperlinks with Hand Tool
It turns out her problem was because she had "Exclusive Mode" toggled. Apparently having that toggled disables hyperlinks with the hand tool. What is the purpose of Exclusive Mode? Does it have to be turned on by the user or is it possible she received a PDF that was set to "Exclusive...

Cannot Open Hyperlinks with Hand Tool
One of my employees is having an issue where PDF Xchange Editor will not open hyperlinks via the hand tool (she can still open links if she uses the text select tool). I had her email me the pdf she's having issues with and I can open the same links just fine with my hand tool. We are both using the...

Re: Worst Release Ever (for me, at least)
Me and my employees that use this software are all encountering the same issue this thread describes.
This latest update essentially crashes Windows Explorer whenever we try to do anything with a PDF. We are all on Windows 7 (64 bit).
Disabling Shell Extensions from installing resolves the issue.

Print Default Fixed in Latest Version
I wanted to take a minute to thank you guys for fixing the print default in PDF-XChange Editor so that it defaults to 'All' instead of whatever was last used. You've made myself and the couple employees who have been testing XChange Editor at my company very happy. With that issue fixed I was free t...

Re: Set "All Pages" as default for printing
we have been having discussions here about making a user defined set of 'Defaults' for printing and possibly even printing profiles that your users could set up for common print jobs. Do you think that would satisfy your tough crowd? I wouldn't call them a "tough crowd". They're not being...

Re: Set "All Pages" as default for printing
I am absolutely flabbergasted that this isn't a bug but a "feature", supposedly implemented by popular request. Are you telling me that most people print the same page-range from the same document over and over? That is the only usage case I can imagine where this wouldn't be an annoyance....

Set "All Pages" as default for printing
I recently persuaded my boss to purchase a few PDF-Xchange Editor licenses for our company. However, I am getting complaints from multiple employees regarding the fact that PDF Xchange Editor's print dialog defaults to whatever Page Range was set last. It is annoying a couple employees so much that ...
