Re: GUI is way too small on high res display

sorry, this did not help. The text is fine. The icons are all too small. Making the tool bar bigger does not do anything. Also, the check boxes in various dialogs like the customize toolbars, are so small you can hardly click on them. I notice in Windows 10, on the Display Settings dialog, there is ...

Re: Toolbar context menu does not work

No, that's not it. Tracker Supp-Stefan's, Site Admin, fix works: turn on the "Fade of slide menus into view" option in Advanced System Properties. On windows machines, this can be found in: System Properties>Advanced tab>Performance Settings>Custom. It is about a 1/4 the way down the list.

Re: Turn off toolbar text lables

Thanks, It just moves the label from the bottom to the right of the icon. Solution to this: If the toolbar is free floating, make it narrower horizontally until all the labels disappear. If the toolbar is docked, cram more toolbars into the same docking row until the labels arbitrarily disappear to ...

Re: momentary hand and zoom tools

Thanks Bhikkhu, I have also set keyboard shortcuts for these tools, but momentary switching would be more useful and quicker. Good to hear it is planned. Should be noted for others that the menu that appears when you right-click on the toolbar is useless, at least for me and a few others that have p...

momentary hand and zoom tools

Is it possible to momentarily switch to the hand or zoom tool? For instance, in numerous other programs you can momentarily switch to the hand tool when you press and hold the space bar. Likewise, ctrl+space bar works for the zoom tool. After you are done with the hand or zoom tool, you just release...

Re: Toolbar icons

Making the toolbar one line in height does not get rid of the text label for me. It just moves the label from the bottom of the tool icon to the right side of the icon. If the toolbar is free floating, you can also make the toolbar narrower horizontally until all the labels disappear. However, if yo...

Turn off toolbar text lables

Is it possible to turn off the tool's text labels on the toolbar options? This would save a lot of screen space.

Also, is it possible to make the tool name and info pop up when you hover over the tool?

Toolbar context menu does not work

When I right click on any of the toolbars or menu bar a toolbar-view-context dialog appears that shows whether a toolbar is currently in view or not in view. This is typical for most programs. I should be able to change the view option in this dialog, but I can't. Selecting any of the options on thi...
