Re: Slow for Print Dialog Window to appear
Hi Stefan, The windows10 devices and printers dialog opens up straight away. I could not attached a printer directly, but I made the PDF-xchange std V6 driver as the default printer. I also updated the PDF Editor and the times seemed to improve, and it now takes 4.6 secs to open small text based pdf...

Re: Slow for Print Dialog Window to appear
Hi Stefan, The Windows 10 Printers and scanners window opens up instantly. I assume that is what you referred to. The default printer is a network printer (simple laser printer - been used for years), but when I click on the print menu or go Ctrl P, the printer preview (and pick printer) window has ...

Slow for Print Dialog Window to appear
Hi All, Editor v6.3.22.7 I have noticed of recent weeks that the time it takes for the print dialog window to appear when requested, is taking 6-10 seconds. Do you know if the print dialog window is a separate exe that is run? I am thinking that it may be the AV program (AVG) as these are becoming m...

Closing viewer takes over control (for a while)
This has been happening for a while, but I just got round to putting pen to paper so to speak. When I close down the viewer, it does not allow any other program to operate for about 10 seconds. It seemingly takes over control. It does remove itself from the task panel, but it always catches me out, ...

Re: Export to Image - File naming with macros query
Thanks Vasyl,
I thought that might be it. I don't suppose I could do it through the SDK for the viewer? Otherwise I can just build another utility in my app to rename the files.
See ya

Export to Image - File naming with macros query
Hi, I create a monthly pdf file of all of the invoices I send out. I wish to export the invoices to jpg files for uploading to our web store, but I want them to be named using the invoice number and not by page number or auto number. Is there a way to make file names like 11225.jpg, 11226.jpg, etc e...

Re: Extract Pages --> append pages to a file of choice
We cannot provide UI which can satisfy requirements of all developers, and because now we are working on plugins subsystem of the viewer, using which developers will be able to add their own functionality to the viewer. But for now I cannot promize terms when it will be ready. Thanks Ivan, I unders...

Extract Pages --> append pages to a file of choice
Hi Craig and John, in post https://forum.pdf-xchange.com/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=4826&p=22430&hilit=fiscal#p22430 I asked about drag and drop for selected pages so that I could extract pages from a general pdf and add them to a specific pdf. This was for an application I have had in develop...
