Re: Oh no, those changes to the user interface
Hi, thanks for explaining Vasyl. I hope it is OK to post this here, but it fits the topic title ;-) . I noticed that with the new update the document tabs (classic toolbar style in single row height) are considerably higher. (See attached image). (Vertical lines of the same color have the same heigh...

Re: pencil tool - turning off smoothing
Hi Daniel, thanks for your reply and pointing out that setting. You might want to update the German translation of this feature, since it is called "Stifthärte" (pencil hardness) on my computer, which in ink applications usually refers to the pressure response curve and not the smoothing l...

Re: pencil tool - turning off smoothing
Hi,
Any news on this?
I just ran into this issue with 9.1 b356.0. The registry key gets deleted (editor was closed, normal installation, 64bit version).
Any other workarounds? The letters m and n very often just become lines, even when not zoomed in.
Kind regards,
Chris

Feature request: Table extraction
Hi, working with PDFs containing engineering or business documents often entails working with tables of data. Since PDF does not have a native table representation, the process of trying to extract information from these tables is very tedious. I am aware of the export to excel feature, but I find t...

Ability to modify the span of Highlight and Underline comments
Hi, is there a way to modify the the text span of the highlight and underline commands that does not involve deleting and re-doing these comments? I frequently find myself in the situation where I highlighted a space or a letter I don't want to highlight or where I missed a single character. It woul...

Hi Christian, What are you seeing in 7.0.323.2? Hi Paul, 7.0.323.2 has fixed the issue for me as well, thanks for the quick update. As for the scroll speed: I was referring to the speed when tabs don't shrink. It think it's a bit lower than in v6 and could be increased a little. But maybe I just ha...

Re: PDF Editor 7.0.323.0: Document tabs

Without using your settings I find the tabs are shrinking as expected and I only make the settings in preferences and restart the Editor ...

Re: PDF Editor 7.0.323.0: Document tabs
Hi Christian, it appears to be working for me in the 7.0.323.1 pre-release I am looking at. Having said that, it is not a 'Portable' version. There are quite a few fixes in this next release, many of them UI related. My suggestion is to wait for the release tomorrow when all the versions will be av...

v7: Menu height
I noticed that in v7 the menu height is larger than in v6. Is there a reason for this? The same applies to the title bar but it has a few new buttons that might be responsible. But the menu bar is unchanged and just takes a few px extra without any change to the font size apparent to me. Please cons...

PDF Editor 7.0.323.0: Document tabs
Hi, there are some (minor) issues with the document tabs in PDF Editor 7.0.323.0: The shrink document tabs setting (Preferences>General>Tabs and Windows>Shrink document tabs) is only applied on importing the preferences. Even a restart of the editor (I'm using the portable version) does not apply th...

Such a feature is available with most ebook readers and I think it is also useful when using a deskto...
