I seem to remember that search results were marked with colored strips on the scrollbar. But now they're not.

Is there a setting for this, or is my memory failing me?

Okay. It's almost identical to 322.5. The biggest difference is the horizontal line. I guess what I see in 322.5 is how hinting should work.
If I disable hinting in 322.5 too the horizontal line becomes the only difference.

I never used to have this problem because I had the default tool set to the Text Select tool. This is a much more useful default than the hand tool, since scrolling and panning a document is best done with the Scrollwheel or Shift+Scrollwheel (to pan sideways). It doesn't help me with the alien looking titlebar though (which is also thicker than normal)...

Why couldn't it have the style of the theme set in the OS? If not this, then why can't I set it to have the OS titlebar like it had in V6? (Actually both would be the best)
