i was able to complete the operation on that document using the portable free version of pdfxchange-viewer 2.5 build 322.9, so there must be something buggy in pdfxchange-editor 7.328.1.

same problem here under wine 1.7 up to the latest version 1.7.44. as soon as i select a menu entry the program crashes instantly. both, x86 and x64 versions are affected. pdf-xchange editor version 312 did not behave like this.

problem still exists in build 312 and 312.1. still no spanish accents in text boxes. only when typing file names in the save, save as..., etc dialogue box it accepts the input of spanish accents. as i frequently have to fill spanish documents this is a huge pain in the ... and i am thinking about re...

just to confirm, switching from x64 to x86 wine/msxml6 works even with the latest wine 1.7.29 under ubuntu 14.10. i only had to manually configure wine to use the native msxml6.dll instead of the builtin.

that happens no matter what pdf i am editing. another quick check i did is adding a line to an existing one line text box containing text in bold. as soon as i type CR and leave the text box it looses the bold text attribute.
