Thanks for the post - This appears to be an issue with the Viewer itself and so there isn't any way to hide these. The Viewer has been replaced by the Editor and as such is no longer being developed.

Sorry - That's correct. If you're looking for the Classic UI equivalent, you're looking for the Properties Toolbar, which is enabled using Ctrl + E If I remember correctly.
