Re: How are you expected to edit PDF files -and what program

Why does the program not work like MS Paint, where I can select pixels and move them around? EDIT: Oh, I see that if I open OpenOffice, I can use the Snapshot Tool to cut and paste images into the OpenOffice document, and I can copy and paste the OCR text using the Edit Content Tool. A big job on th...

Re: How are you expected to edit PDF files -and what program

Here are 3 pages of the PDF file I want to edit. I think the problem is, you cannot edit the images. I mean, move them around. I think you can edit and move the text around.

Re: How are you expected to edit PDF files -and what program

I tried to zip, but it only took 1mb off the size.

It's a large download at 53Mb (maybe too large for your liking :c), but here is the non modified file:

Re: How are you expected to edit PDF files -and what program

I suspect I'd need the Pro version, but wonder if I do, or whether I have a cheaper alternative. Remember, I'm talking about open PDF, edit, save PDF.

How are you expected to edit PDF files -and what program?

I've opened a PDF file which I want to use, but I want to edit the words, paragraphs - change the formatting of text and images etc. I've OCR'd the document. I'm expecting to open a PDF document, make changes to it, then save. Okay, I cannot do this with PDF XChange Viewer. So, what program do I nee...

Re: What version of PDF-xChange allows New Document creation

Let me just see if I get this: If I use MS Word, I create a new document, type ito it, save it. Then I may open the document with Word and print it. MS Word does not rely on another program being installed on my PC. Okay, but PDF-eXchange is different, it requires another program being installed on ...

Re: What version of PDF-xChange allows New Document creation

What I want to do is: * File>New Document>From Blank Page. *Type into the new document. * Arrange for password protection, so that the document can only be opened with the password. * Save the new document as a PDF file. I see that PDF eXchange Viewer indicates creation of a new document requires&qu...

Re: What version of PDF-xChange allows New Document creation

It seems that often, PDF creation is a matter of first creating a file, say a MS Word (.doc) file. And then a PDF-xChange package will convert it to PDF format. I'm wondering if that is true, up to a certain point, and after that point a PDFfile is created by the xChange program itself. Avoiding the...

When I wish to create a new document I get the message: "...please upgrade to a licenced "PRO" release.
