Version 338 free ("Dokument aufteilen"). Maybe it was fixed in a later version?!

Also no stamps in the final documents after splitting.

Re: Features I am missing in Editor

So page extraction is the current method of doing so, just as I thought (and used). Thanks for the explanation.

One drawback of this is that this does not work with the free version, whereas "Split document" does.

Re: Features I am missing in Editor

Is there an easy way to split a document in two files at a certain position instead of having to extract pages?

The "Split Document" function only seems to allow to split "every x pages". So when I need to split a 500 pages document after page 220 I would get 3 files instead of just 2.

Re: Wrong characters when editing text

I took a look at the document and suspect the behavior to be an Editor bug. Also take notice that the document is using Type1 fonts. If you print this to a new PDF file Editor will discard the font information entirely and instead draw a new font that does not link displayed letters to keyboard characters anymore. So watch out for that, too.

Independent of whether this works or not Editor should still allow to use mouse-dragging to mark text after a double/tripple-click was used.
