Re: Any known issues PDF ver 1.3 with blank PDF Producer?
Hi Stefan Thanks for the quick response. Two questions - 1. Do you think setting the Author would solve the problem? Is it not the Producer that would need to be set? 2. I notice you refer to PXCp_SetDocumentInfoA whereas in the past we've used PXCp_SetDocumentInfoW What's the difference? Thanks, Da...

Can you give an approximate release date?
If it's not likely to be in the near future will you consider adding this fix into a release of the current version?

Hi John Can you provde any more information about the corruptions in the file? Also, doesn't the fact that Acrobat Reader will open it without problem suggest that it is not corrupt? It causes an Access Violation at address 100226D5 in module xcpro40.dll - read of address 00000000
Hope this helps.

Hi Nico Thanks for your response. The comment for FontSize makes it much clearer. However, I'm still confused about dwFlags. Has this changed for version 5? If not, it seems to contradict the post by Walter on April 19th which stated "Set flags to decimal 14 (binary 1110) to set all bits except...

Re: PDFX4DRV_API.pdf Documentation Woes
Hi Ivan Thanks for your comments. With regard to FontSize, I feel that the phrase "should be specified in tenth of points" is ambiguous. Does this mean that a value of 105 represents 10.5 point, or that the font size can include one decimal place eg 12.5 ? Can you clarify this in the docum...

Well, it's over a month now since your last comment (and over 2 years since item 2 was first reported).
Are we any closer to having accurate documentation?
If not, can you give a target date for this?

OK, Thanks. The way the font size is worded "Font size is specified in tenths of a point" made me think that 120 would be 12 point. Perhaps it could be reworded as "Font size is specified in points, with up to 1 decimal place eg 12 or 12.5"

While you're waiting on a response from "the guys maintaining the manuals", can you please advise what is the latest version of documentation that you have access to?
I really hope that it has been updated since 2008.
Thanks

Re: Text is fainter when it has watermark behind it
Hi Stefan
I have emailed the jpg to support@pdf-xchange.com
We encounter the same issue with each file we've tried.
With regard to your comment about testing with a value of 255, this is the value that is currently in use, as per the code line included earlier.

Text is fainter when it has watermark behind it
I've noticed that the text in a document that is 'on top of' a watermark appears lighter/fainter than neighbouring text in the same font which is not on the watermark. The watermark is added using this Delphi code: AddImageWatermark('Header',lsHeaderFile,-1,liWidth,liHeight,9,0,60,0,255,29,0,''); Is...

Thank you. I think it would be a useful enhancement, as would the 2 additional dwPlaceType options I suggested earlier. Alternatively (or additionally) it would be great to be able to specify a page range that is relative to the end page, eg "-$1" = Up to last page minus 1. For the moment,...
