How to open PDF in PDF-Tools 7 builid 327.1 SOLVED
I've mainly used PDF X-Change Printer in this marvellous package, but today I'm wanting to extract an image from a PDF. For the life of me I can't figure out how load the pdf after selecting Extract Images from PDF or Export Image from PDF. Searching the manual didn't help me and I'm not into comman...

PDF/X
Interestingly, your forum search ignores the "x" when searching, which is pretty useless! I have PDF-XChange version 5 build 273.5 using Windows 7 Pro x64 build 7601 SP1, plus all your other tools/viewer. I need to produce PDF/X PDFs for CreateSpace paperback books from my PageMaker 7, but the only ...

Re: Resulting PDF displaying as very minature of original
Hello posword, I just spoke with one of my colleagues and he told me that Flate = Zip Well, thanks, Stephan. I've never heard of Flate! I have heard of other varieties of Zip like 7Zip, the old GZip, etc. Perhaps it would be wise to put Zip in brackets after Flate. I think we can close this thread ...

Re: Resulting PDF displaying as very minature of original
Good morning, Stefan. Yes, I have now checked the items in PageMaker (all were ok) and in the Print Setup, which I carefully compared with the v.4 manual (which needs updating as item names and features have changed). The problem is solved. The confusion arose in Print / Setup / Pages / Layout becau...

Resulting PDF displaying as very minature of original
I have been having problems with PDF-Xchange PRO 4 so have updated to 5.028 but still have the same problem. I'm exporting out of PageMaker 7 under Windows 7 Ultimate, and the last time I did this in February it worked perfectly. Now I'm getting a very tiny version of the document in the top-left co...

Re: extract from pdf to rtf is removing line ends
Hello Peter, It will depend on the way text is stored inside the PDF - as it could be that while it was created from a single paragraph of justified text - then each line inside the PDF is separate - and that's why our PDF Tools is adding the new paragraph marks after each line. I can not think of ...

Re: extract from pdf to rtf is removing line ends
I see that you are using build 201 of our PDF Tools, but at my end using the same build on a Win7 x64 machine I had no problems with converting that page - and the line breaks were properly recognized - please check the attached sample. I've tried selecting both .rtf and .doc file formats - and the...

extract from pdf to rtf is removing line ends
I'm testing PDF-Tool 4.0.201 and attempting to extract Spanish language text from a PDF book with justified text. Just for the record, I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate. I'm impressed that it handles all the accents without problems. However, it is combining the last word of each line and the first word ...
