Re: Handwriting devices compatible with PDF-XChange Viewer ?

Hi John, That "stamp" idea is all well and good, but it begs the question of creating my signature in the first place. If I write it out on a piece of paper, then I will have to scan it in and create the stamp. I am going to go ahead and purchase the Wacom Bamboo Capture Pen and Touch Tabl...

Handwriting devices compatible with PDF-XChange Viewer ???

:x I was logged in and when I went to post, it said I had to login again. Of course my original post was lost. Not good! I have the latest version of PDF-XChange Viewer Pro on WinVista and today had to electronically add my signature to a pdf file using only the mouse. That was cumbersome. I also re...

White-on-Black does NOT print correctly

If you display the attached file with the latest version of PDF-XChange Viewer as well as Adobe Reader, both show the file properly on the screen. BUT PDF-XChange Viewer does NOT print the white-on-black correctly. The white lettering is blacked out and not readable. I am printing to a Xerox Phaser ...

Re: Some links not showing properly

Glad that you figured out what is happening and will have a fix in the next release. Apparently Adobe Reader is doing the same work around. Did you figure out why it didn't work with Win2K, but did work with WinXP & Vista? Thanks.

Some links not showing properly

If you go through the attached file and position the mouse cursor over each of the embedded links, you will see that some are not being displayed correctly. I went through the entire file with Adobe Reader 9.2.0 and every link is displayed correctly with it. I have the attached file stored in "...

Re: URL Links Not Active

Using PDF-XChange on the IE8 toolbar works. What about Firefox? I don't see the equivalent. Also, I have other documents that have been created with fully qualified http:/ links, but when I 'Print' them to PDF-XChange print driver, the links are not active although they are shown as underlined &...

URL Links Not Active

I am using the latest PDF-XChange Pro v4.0168 and PDF-XChange Viewer v2.0(build 42.4) on WinXP and cannot seem to get links to be active when creating a pdf. For some reason this was the case with an earlier version of Pro, so I upgraded just to be safe. On the Settings|Links I have checked "An...

Re: Something wrong displaying bold on WinXP

Victor, I have uploaded a zip file with a screen shot of what Adobe Reader 9 shows the fonts to be and what your latest Viewer also shows. Notice that I also show the corresponding title at the top of the page that is displayed correctly in Adobe Reader but not in your Viewer. I have also included t...

Re: Something wrong displaying bold on WinXP

I have attached just a few pages from our manual that shows another problem with PDF-XChange Viewer 2.0 build 39.2. Notice in the following sections: 2 Getting Started 2.2 Performing assessments & evaluations that the bullets are NOT displayed in the bulleted paragraphs by your Viewer (displayed...

Re: Something wrong displaying bold on WinXP

Ok, this gets even stranger. I went in to set my preferences for PDF-XChange Pro Print Driver and now PDF-XChange Viewer works! In addition to setting up security, I like to force embedding all used fonts and there were a few other changes. Not sure what caused the Viewer to now work. Keep in mind t...

Something wrong displaying bold on WinXP

This is a very strange problem. On this WinXP computer using PDF-XChange Viewer 2.039 released 9/2/08, the bold fonts are not being displayed as bold, yet using Adobe Reader 9, all works just fine. See the title line on the first page of the attached file. Since the bold fonts are not being displaye...

Import Profile to User from Admin problem

Using PDF-XChange Pro 4.0149 on Win2K server with all latest MS updates. This feature used to work in version 3.x. I modified Printing Preferences when logged in as Administrator and Exported the Profile. Then I logged in as a regular User and tried to Import this Profile and none of the profile set...
