Thanks for the extra info Harry - We'll take that all into consideration while investigating and fixing. However, it's worth noting that we obviously cannot fix this is Version 4 of the Lite printer and in order to access the fix, when it is available, you will need to upgrade to V7. Thanks, I unde...

Re: Macros to compose File name not working correctly anymore

Hi willy, After much testing, It appears to be an issue with the way the Date macro prints out. Here are two workaround I've come up with for the time being. (there may be more though) 1. Unchecking "Show Save As dialog" inside the printer allows the macro to complete successfully. 2. Sim...

XChange Lite 'Save Options' not working

I have PDF-XChange 4.0 Lite, which came with my purchased copy of Editor. I run this on Windows 7 Pro (64 bit) SP1. I have used this for years as my printing option to save documents as PDF files. It has always worked fine. I recently decided that I wanted to have the file name, date, etc. included ...

Hi Harry, Thanks for the post - You would either need to add the footer before printing using the Headers and Footers feature, or would need to do this through the settings of your printer. Thanks for the prompt reply. However the options listed on Headers and Footers don't include: a) File path an...

Viewer--Later build will not accept my s/n

I have PDF-XChange Viewer 2.5.214.2. It is the Pro version, which requires a s/n to activate. It works fine. Tracker considers the Viewer obsolete, and replaced it with Editor. I also have a Pro version of Editor, but I prefer to use Viewer. Going through Tracker's Viewer archive, I noticed that the...

Will:

The portable link for VIEWER you sent me is for Ver. 3.09, which you blocked. So I found 2.5.214.2 on your website. I installed it on a USB stick, and it works just fine. Both TWAIN and WIA driver options.

The portable version is smaller than the 'normal' version. Why is that?
