Re: PDF-XChange 3.5.0.99

Do you have a 3.5 x64 of any build? 3.6 doesn't seem to be working for us for some reason (we get an error when we try to instantiate the ActiveX control).

PDF-XChange 3.5.0.99

Hi there. Would it be possible to get the redistributable for x64 for v3.5.0.99? We're moving to Windows Server 2008 R2 (x64) and I'm having trouble with 3.6 in our legacy application.

Thanks!

Re: Driver suddenly unable to email in production system

Hi, Paul. We tried to move to V4 but the new DLL doesn't fire events in our environment for some reason (or it couldn't last time we tried a few months ago). Have there been many changes in that area? (see post http://www.tracker-software.com/forum3/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=4821&p=22808#p22027) Thanks, ...

Re: Driver suddenly unable to email in production system

I know that this is an old thread, but we are still having the problem and our client is begging for answers. I have more information... Here's what's happening: Occasionally, when we call the API to set the settings for the next print job (we always e-mail the PDF), the driver does not pick up the ...

Re: Can't instantiate V4 ActiveX

During the meeting, I was told that a new build might fix my problem and that someone would email it to me. I didn't receive anything. Please help.

Thanks,

Re: Can't instantiate V4 ActiveX

Thanks -- that worked great. Now my problem is that the events are not firing. My environment is like VB -- I just indicate that the ActiveX is "WithEvents" and the environment creates the event handler functions that correspond to your events. In all the testing that I've done, the events don't fir...

Can't instantiate V4 ActiveX

I'm unable to instantiate the DLL with the version 4 driver (version 3 works fine). My programming environment is Microsoft Dynamics NAV, which uses a proprietary language called C/AL. I use lots of ActiveX controls in my code and I've never encountered this before. I tried on Vista and XP. When I a...

Re: x64 Compatibility

My application can't instantiate the new COM object for some reason. I get a message saying that it can't be instantiated. The error lists the GUID and the component name. I tried on a Vista PC and an XP PC.

Out app is 32-bit. What's involved in the upgrade? Is there upgrade pricing available (or can we use the same registration key)? Are there major SDK differences?

x64 Compatibility

We have an application that uses the 3.0 API and has been working well for years. One of our customers upgraded to an x64-based server and installed the latest 3.0 API driver on it. The print driver functions, but the pxc30com.dll is not found by the applications as a registered COM control (even th...
