Re: After the update, the installer doesn't get deleted

Hello, Stefan, Thank you for your quick reply and for your thorough explanation. I didn't know Windows needed to keep a copy of the .MSI file in order for the uninstall feature to work. I'd surprised to know that, if I manually install a programme, Windows also keeps copy of the install file. In any...

After the update, the installer doesn't get deleted

Hi, I've recently noticed that, after completing the update via the programme itself, the installer doesn't get deleted. This is my experience updating just now to version 10.1.2.382 (x64) : 1. I clicked on Help > Check for Updates . 2. A file called EditorV10.x64.msi was downloaded to a system fold...

File menu (some options are not displayed)

Hello, This week, I decided to be more active in this forum and I've meant for a while to report that, at least for the last months, I've noticed that when you click on the File menu, you don't get all the options and you need to click again on an arrow to display the last three elements, including ...

Hello, My case scenario is as follows: 1. I'm on the Windows 10 file explorer. 2. I right click on a PDF file to access its Properties. 3. Hello, One of things I like the most about PDF-Xchange is that the searching for text is much faster than on Adobe, where it's painfully slow. Today, I was searching for the text "volume 1" on a particular PDF, when I found a strange behaviour, which you can see on the captions. 1. On file...

I understand you want to conform 100% to the PDF/A specification, and you can still do that and, at the same time, by warning the user before completing the action, let him use the markup and annotation tools if he doesn't need compliance for his files, as I am sure is the case for most people who c...
