Re: Printing in Chrome makes PDFs of much larger size than in Firefox SOLVED
Could you please take a look at this KB article: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowledgebase/358-Why-cant-I-print-PDF-documents-correctly-from-Google-emChromeem It seems that Firefox 71.0 (64bit) does the same like Chrome. With Microsoft Edge the letters are letters and not pathes. Regards, Christian

Re: PDF preview with Outlook 2016
Hi,
it's the same here, Outlook 2013 64bit.
The preview cannot be shown because it is not installed, compare screenshot. But the preview pane works fine in explorer. Tried to reconfigure the preview pane in the settings dialogue, but had no success.

Re: issue with docx-file containing vector graphics emf
Hi John, why should I install the PDF-XChange Lite printer (demo version) if I have installed PDF-XChange printer in the same version (look at attached screenshot). I would not expect any enhancement in lite edition vs. pro edition. Hi Stefan, looks pretty fine. Will the feature also have the abilit...

Re: issue with docx-file containing vector graphics emf
Hello Stefan,
I produced a pdf by another word plugin (Soft Xpansion Perfect PDF which is a scalabel pdf. Seems that there must be a way to get the data in vector form from word.

Re: issue with docx-file containing vector graphics emf
Nothing new for me. If you read my initial post you will see that I posted:
> I may higher the resolution to 2400 dpi on the 'page' named register to get better result, but it is still no vector graphics.
I would like to get a truely scalable pdf file.

issue with docx-file containing vector graphics emf
Hi support team, there seems to be an issue with printing vector graphics files within word files. I have some emf-files exported by a third party application, imported them in Microsoft Word 2013. Looks fine on screen (i.e. fully scalable). I can produce a pdf with the word build in pdf-export and ...

Re: Some problem with version 312 and 312.1
Hi Paul,
unfortunately, it does not work for me. I uninstalled the editor, rebooted, installed again, rebooted. No changes. It looks like in the attached screenshot (I don't know how to insert a jpg or png in this forum). Any ideas?
Regards

Solved: Some problem with version 312 and 312.1
Hi, since the youngest updates there seems to be a problem with some vector pdf files. Not all elements are shown while PDF-X-Change-Viewer does fine. Please check the behaviour with the attached file. The objects seen with the editor are down some month ago with the editor (except the axis labels) ...

Re: bookmark plugin - information about text pattern
Hi Sasha, sorry, I did not notice your message, I probably forgot to check the notify option for replies. The link to ECMAScript is exactly what I was looking for! I was able to resolve another bookmark issue with this syntax according text pattern. If you renew the help file for the editor you shou...

Re: bookmark plugin - information about text pattern
Hi Stefan, thanks for your reply. I would expect a generic pattern to identify numbers and letters. Then it would be possible to find any line that starts with a numbering like <chapter #><dot><subchapter #><dot subsubchapter #> (#.#.# would extract i.e. 1.3.2 or 3.1.4). By now I am only able to giv...

bookmark plugin - information about text pattern
Hi there, the bookmark plugin is available in youngest version. I waited for it along and am happy, that it's there and works fine (and quickly!). I am interested in the text pattern feature to distinguish headings with numbers and dots from other lines. I found out that it works with real numbers a...

Re: Look and feel & print dialog
Hi Stefan, thank you for your reply. Certainly, I use build 304.0. You are partly right. But if you have a sharp look at your screenshot you will see the same like me: The print order is reversed no matter what you choose under pages order. And in addition I made a real print with the option duplex ...

Look and feel & print dialog
Dear support team, in last months I followed all updated versions of PDF-XChange Editor. As I see more and more features are added and the program develops the right direction. There are only two things to give you feedback. At first I miss the look and feel of PDF-X-Changeviewer. At first I thougt ...

Re: partly transparent objects from Excel are ignored
Oh, I have an additional idea. I use PDF-XChange Pro. If I use the update function from the reader the update of pdf tools and of the printer driver has to be done separately. Maybe you could find a more comfortbable way?

Re: partly transparent objects from Excel are ignored
Hi Stefan,
ok, because I had similar problems since months (but never reported it) I thougt updating from build 198 to 199 will not show a solution. But suprisingly I was wrong. Everything is fine now.
Thanks
Christian

partly transparent objects from Excel are ignored
Hi support team, within Excel I sometimes use a rectangle made partyl transparent for highlighting a special region of a diagram. It seems to be a special task to transfer it correctly to a pdf. The PDF-Xchange Pro 4.198 printer driver simply ignores the rectangle. While another pdf-printer driver (...

Error with print dialogue?
Hi everybody, it seems to me that the last update 2.5.194 brought up an error within the printing dialogue. If the page layout of the printer is set to portrait and I use PDF-XChange Viewers feature to print several pages on one (in this case two from left to right) and if I checked to turn pages au...
