Still unsure what's the best practise to "simulate" tabulators. I've enclosed a PDF document which has two lines from a table where some adaptions need to be done. One of the editing tasks is to add a text in the second row below the (tabbed) text of the first row. I don't know how to do this easily...

Test&Try.pdf is shown as TestTry.pdf.

In the recent file list everything looks perfect (seems that flag DT_NOPREFIX is used here).

I have thought that all objects are vector elements (not pixel images) which keep their border properties also when resizing.

Would love find&replace as well.

It would be also cool if found elements of a search could be modified (setting a font attribute, color or just doing a delete) for selected objects. Actually you can only select a single element of the result list.

Yes, I know that the viewer is very old...

Not sure you want give it a try, but I would add a file "Portable.dat" in your editor's installer path and start the progam in portable mode. I am doing so for quite a while and all plugins are working (at least nothing has been grayed out)... :roll:

I've uploaded the dll into the UPXDLL directory.

Meantime I did some further tests and the packed dll seems to work on Windows 10.1 PC's but not on PC's using Windows 8.1

Just an observation: the core dll for 32 bit can't be used when being compressed by UPX anymore. Older versions never had a problem here (32/64 bit), not sure if this change has been done by accident :roll:

Thanks for that, just an interesting observation: my avira antivirus got nervous with the new 32 bit version - the first time ever a (false?) alarm came up for the viewer program.

Tested my portable version using an USB memory stick on a Windows 10 PC now and the double click leads the main window to show the chosen page. The same program on my notebook (Windows 8.1) still does nothing on the main window... ...no idea what's going on, double click must be definitely recognize...

Hm, don't believe so - there's nothing special on my computer, just an antivirus program (Avira) in the background, that's it... ...on monday, I'll check the portable installation with the same settings on a different PC, then we'll see if the problem has to do with my windows or my PDF XChange Edit...

Timur, not sure if you own 'Speedy Gonzales', but my old mouse is too slow for that trick :shock:
