Re: Do not block external editing
I'd like to add my vote to the feature request. We have a software robot which automatically generates PDF's from documents and put them to the target folder. Sure PDFs are designed to be viewed by people. And people do that - just view the generated PDF files. You can guess what happens in that sit...

Re: Stamp script not working
Hi Stefan,
Thank you for the reply. I was able to find the bracket bug with IE and VS 2015. Unfortunately using those tools I can make my code running. The dialog box pops up in the Editor, but not in VS or IE. What can I do to make the code working with external debuggers?
Thank you,
Evgeny.

Hi Alex,
It works! Thank you!
Can you suggest a debugging tool for the Editor scripts?

Stamp script not working
Hi, I need to put a diamond note with number as document markup. I decided using a dynamic stamp. I borrowed the script from the Custom Date stamp and modified it. The script should ask the detail number and update the stamp field. Unfortunately I am very weak programmer and I can't make it working....

Hi, Thank you for the nice piece of software. I would like to ask for another feature extending its functionality - Batch Link. It should work similar to this . Please see the attached document. I have created the orange bookmarks with the tool "Generate Bookmarks From Page Text". Now I wo...

Thank you, I know about the Crop tool.
And thank you for your intention to "promote" the feature. I would love the PXF-XChange even more with it.

Re: Feature Request - Stamps from Comments
Paul, Thank you for the suggestion. I can get the result I need with the following steps: 1. Flatten markup 2. Cut off the page white space 3. Make the background transparent (optionally). 4. Save the PDF file. 5. Import the PDF into Stamps. My crazy idea is that all that I can do with just a single...

Re: Feature Request - Stamps from Comments
Correct. The "New from Clipboard" button doesn't work for vector graphics created with Editor, i.e. text box.
I can create a pixel based stamp with it, but I need a vector one.
Please watch the video here.

Re: Feature Request - Stamps from Comments
Sorry, No.
I can create a stamp graphics with markup tools in the Editor, I can copy the graphics to clipboard. But I can't paste it as a new Stamp. This is what I need. It would be fantastic!

Hey,
You are absolutely right. But we needed a little bit sophisticated graphics and we choose AutoCAD as it is more handy tool for us.

Re: Problem - no date for Stamp
Will, Thank you for the idea. Your code should work. Sorry, I didn't tried it as I found, that I need a custom date stamp, which would show a dialog window before placing the stamp. I borrowed the code from the supplied 'Custom Date' stamp: var DateDlg = { result: "cancel", DoDialog: funct...

Problem - no date for Stamp
Hi, I need to create a stamp with dynamic date. I placed a field and assigned a macro borrowed from the 'Custom Date' stamp supplied with the PDF-XChange Editor. When I place the created stamp it doesn't ask me to enter the date. It doesn't work in the way as the supplied stamp. Here is the video . ...

Re: Feature Request - Stamps from Comments
Hi Will, Thank you for for the reply. I apologize, if my message sounded rude. Sorry about that. We need to create several dozens of vector graphics stamps. Here are the steps we performed: 1. We drew the stamps with AutoCAD. 2. Generated PDFs, 3. Made the background transparent. 4. Cut off the whit...

Copy/Pasting can do everything, there in need to have stamps. Should we expect the Stamp feature disappearing from PDF-XChange and switching users to nice-n-simple copy/pasting?

Feature Request - Stamps from Comments
There is a nice feature to create a new stamp from clipboard. Unfortunately it doesn't work for the placed commenting elements. I created some "standard" comment elements for my first markup drawing and I planned to use them later again. So I decided to put them to the Stamp library. And i...

Also thank you for the understanding that the touchscreen functionality is a totally different beast. If you can make it perfect, the PDF X-Change is going to be the best product on the market.

You are right, I can see now - as I restarted the app all my stamps are "messed up" in alphabetical order. It's so sad. Will - Tracker Supp wrote: This information isn't stored anywhere but in memory.

Thank you for the response.
I think the order should be stored somewhere, in the register I guess. Can you ask developers where I can find it? It may help me to spread it through the users.
Cheers.

Save/Restore User Interface Layout
Hi,
I have changed the tools layout, i.e. all toolbars - at the bottom, Stamp Palette docked to the left with collapsed tabs, etc. I want to make this appearance as default for the company users. Is it possible to get a snapshot of my layout and spread to other users?
Thank you,
EK

Hi, I have created Stamps Palette for a user arranging them in the order I want.
