Browser pluging, send email does not work

Windows 7 x64 IE11 Outlook 2010 32bit PDF inside IE browser. Then we try click "send email" and nothing happens. (I think, first time it should ask which way to send) If I manully try set settings CTRL+K to "Local" something will happen. (folder does open) But using "Mail cl...

Re: Change language of editor browser plugin

Install software with option EDITOR_LANGUAGE="" and it will work. Then, all software languages will be then same as user Windows language settings. and that is usually what users want. (yes, this is not official, I hope tracker will make official option to do language settings correctly. N...

Re: PDF-XChange Editor IE Plugin language setting

Please note, if you are regular user, dont read this. Just use CTLR+K, thats the answer. Nothing more to see here. This is great product, and we love it. But if we take closer look at installation in managed environment. Testmachine: Windows 8.1 CU1 x64 (I'm very certain you will get same result any...

Re: MSI: group policy deploy - pdf extensions not associated

Can you test installed software with other clean user account with same machine?
Because if user does have manually set file association it does override machine settings.

Re: PDF-XChange Editor IE Plugin language setting

Thanks, CTRL+K does help for one user. Actually I'm installing to 250 users and was wondering how to set correct languages by default. In my opinion, it would not be bad if programs follow regional settings by default. Why not? I did not find anyway to set language "auto" by installation, ...

PDF-XChange Editor IE Plugin language setting

Simple question, how do you change language of IE Plugin? It does not seem to follow PDF-XChange Editor language setting and there is no UI to change language inside browser. Appendix: PDF-XChange Editor 5.5 308.2 Internet Explorer 11 Windows 7 x64, UAC enabled By looking at this more, I find out th...

Re: MSI silent install

Thanks for the tip.
DESKTOP_SHORTCUTS="0" works

We did use Orca, but if we dont, its much easier to update latest version. (only need to download new files)

Re: "Display in browser" settings

I would like to hide toolbar when PDF-XChange open in browser. Toolbaars take too much space. And usually, when you open PDF in browser, you only want to look at it. I did find out that "in browser" setttings are different than when you open program. So, I can manually close all toolbaars...

I'm not so convinced it's MSI bug. Maybe you did not follow Microsoft rules about minor update.

Re: MSI Installation error "A later version..."

When you use Active Directory Group Policy to deploy software, you cannot define command line options. (idea of MSI is install software without scripts /command lines)

So, I dont know why you create MSI if it does not work.

MSI Installation error "A later version..."

We have PDF-XChange Viewer installed all of our corporate computers. Now we have 2.0 build 42.2 version installed. (both x86 and x64 versions. Windows XP, Vista, 7) Now I'm unable to install new version (42.10). I did uninstall previous version (it does not matter if you unistall or not), but now in...
