Stefan, Our driver was set to "No Conversion". If we set it to "Convert to Grayscale" as you suggested, then it always does grayscale. Not good. What we want is for it to do color when printing in color and greyscale when printing in black and white. Adobe PDF and all of our phys...

Any idea if or when PDF-XChange Editor will support 3D content? I would love to completely do away with Acrobat Reader, but we just received a PDF with 3D content and now I need to install Reader for one of my users so he can review it.

We have purchased licenses with maintenance so I can update. I might try that soon. But Stefan had copies of my files and I assume he saw the same results, so I'm not sure that updating would help. But I will try when I get time.

I did not use PDF XChange Editor to do the scanning. We do not have locally attached scanners. Scanning is done with MFPs (scanner/printer/copier units that handle up to 11"x17") or our large format scanner (for documents up to 36" wide). I will just wait and see what Tracker does wit...

Willy, That might work. Keep in mind that in both cases, I scanned the document in portrait mode. I did not do any rotation editing myself. Ok, that must be because I used a different scanner this year. I did not rotate them myself. So how do I do the transform? I couldn't find a "rotate" handle on the selected objects and I could not find a rotate command in the menu.

Willy, That was it! I'm not sure how that changed, but setting Text Rendering mode to Auto solved the problem. Just odd that it would suddenly default to something other than Auto. We have some software that outputs to PDF. If we open the PDF in PDF XChange Editor and reprint it to PDF using PDF-XChange Standard V6, the file size increases considerably.
