Re: Scanned Rotated Pages Build 341.0

I sometimes have to scan a document "upside down" or "bottom first" because it won't feed through otherwise. So I gather the program determines that comments need to be rotated, even if I have previously rotated the document to correct for the original scan problem. Is that the way it is supposed to...

Scanned Rotated Pages Build 341.0

Due to the physical condition of a document, I sometimes have to scan pages and rotate them (Test Scan Rotated). If I then place comments on one of those pages and use Option 1 (see attached zip file) to replace the page, the Comments appear, but are rotated (Page Replaced). I just used a blank new ...

Re: Build 340.0 Scanning

I have a number of Alt- shortcuts, and it seems the only one that does not work now is Alt-O. If I change the shortcut, it still does not work. Re: Build 340.0 Scanning

Just checked in 341.0 and it appears to be fixed - no more watermarks.

Has anything changed with shortcuts? Have always used Alt-O as shortcut for File -> Save as Optimized, but it no longer works. Worked up until 339.0. Still listed in shortcuts list in 341.0.

Thank you.

Re: Build 340.0 Scanning

It is not the settings file causing the "Buy Now" stamps. It just occurred to me that when I did the scan after "Reset Settings", I forgot to set OCR in image insertion options. So stamps appear regardless of settings, which makes sense. There is still the problem with the Alt-O shortcut for Optimiz...

I updated PDFX Editor Plus to build 340.0 using the MSI installer and everything seemed to run well. My settings file represents hours of me tinkering with PDF XChange so it works the way I want it to. Backup and restore of those settings is so, so easy to do. I routinely back up my settings to avoid having to go back to square one. I wince when I read on here that someone has lost their settings.

I fiddled around and got the None setting saved. Always redacting black text on a white page so white also works fine as the default.

All started by my desire to do redactions without a black box which I think was the default setting. I don't ever remember changing it.
