we aim for about two months between new releases. It's not set in stone however and each build delivery depends on what is going on at the time.

have you tried using %[DocPath] in the printer?
May I ask why you want to reprint the PDF rather than use the Save As feature? Printing PDF to PDF typically strips interactive content and is not generally recommended if it can be avoided.

by definition in the ISO specifications the fields must be filled at the time the stamp is applied. As I understand things it is not possible to make a stamp that can have these modified after applying them.

I do not think that is a feature of the Portable Editor, though I can see it's value.
Do you always keep the files on the USB?
A network path should always be the same if you use the full UNC path rather than any mapped drives.
