Re: Barcode 39 does not render correct when printing

Hello Ivan and thanks for your prompt reply. Only adding pxvrpf_EmbeddedFontAsCurves to pParams.Flags did not do the trick. The color came back, but the document went black See test 1. But when I combined that flag with pxvrpf_UseVectorRenderer as in pParams.Flags = pxvrpf_UseVectorRenderer | pxvrpf...

Re: Barcode 39 does not render correct when printing

Hello Stefan!
I am sorry, but removing the pxvrpf_UseVectorRenderer did not work. Only change was that colors were replaced by grayscale. I have a small testbench which just pick up the pdf and sends it to my print routine, so I am certain that nothing else is interfering.

Re: Barcode 39 does not render correct when printing

We are using this code. Mostly borrowed from your example. /* PrintPdfDocumentWithPDFXChange.cpp */ #include "stdafx.h" #include "PrintPdfDocumentWithPDFXChange.h" #include "pxcview36.h" #include "WMSetDefaultPrinter.h" #include "ErrorHandlingRoutines.h" #define IS_DS_FAILED(x) (((x) & 0x80000000) !...

Barcode 39 does not render correct when printing

Hello! We have used pxcview.dll for years (more than 5) to print pdf on user computers. We have only had a few issues where printing have gone wrong, so I am evaluating the latest build (from PDFXChange PRO bulid 5.5.315.0). This solves the issues, but another comes up instead: barcode printing is n...

Re: Is it possible to change driver settings from program?

OK, thanks for your answer. Actually, my customer has decided to concentrate on pdf/a, so for the moment I am studying PDFXChange to see if I can get it working.

Re: Is it possible to change driver settings from program?

Hi Stefan! Of cource I have read the help file and looked into the example. I have been working from time to time the last 14 years or so with document conversion. To make a conversion you have to follow this steps: 1. Open original document with application that can render it and send it to printer...

Is it possible to change driver settings from program?

I want to use the Raster-Change API to convert from pdf to tiff and from other formats. The method IPrinter::PrintDocument takes two parameters, File to print and WaitForFinish. Then it internally uses DDE for printing. Now Acrobat is the installed application, and for pdf:s I would much more prefer...

Re: How to use ActiveX component from console program?

Hello Ivan! Thanks for your prompt posting. I had my simple dll method in the attached files, but here are the code: for (i=0; i<page_num; i++) { StartPage(hDC); hr = PXCV_GetPageRotation(pDoc,i,&angle); hr = PXCV_GetPageDimensions(pDoc,i,&width,&height); if (angle == 0 && width > height) pParams.Fl...

How to use ActiveX component from console program?

Hello! I am currently evaluating different tools for printing pdf. I am happy to say that you are ranked at top in rendering quality. However when printing a document with lot of pictures in it it takes significantly longer time and results in a bigger print job. But when I am using the readymade Ac...
