Re: Running PDF-XChange Editor under Codeweavers Crossover

I'm running the licensed version of PDF Editor Pro with the newest version of crossover. Occasionally though I have crashes. Can the tracker software team list PDF Editor Pro's major dependencies? For example, MS Redistributable, MS Visual C+, etcetera? This would help immensely...

Re: Alternative Technique to Creating "Custom Categories"

Are these interface changes going to be made? Where it is possible to mouse over a pane (comments, pages, searches, stamps etc.) and instantly maximize it with a hotkey?

Re: Link to video file

Was there ever follow up to this? Did your development team say that that could make UI adjustment to better manage relative file paths vs. absolute file paths?

Re: Link to video file

I would absolutely not recommend embedding files over linking them. Linking files has some incredible advantages over embedding. Consider this example. You have an excel sheet that you want to link to 10 different reports. While you could embed the excel sheet, or even embed a screen shot of the exc...

Re: Link to video file

I'm a heavy user of your awesome product. I recommend it to everyone. But please either modify your help file or the much better alternative and modify the user interface under View - Other Panes - Attachments and include either a tick mark or something that indicates where files/links are relative ...

Overrive Colors not Working

If xchange viewer will not allow document override colors - using a custom color for background - what does that mean? How do I fix it? Im trying to set the document color from pure white to a light gray.

Re: Alternative Technique to Creating "Custom Categories"

I posted the above message almost a year ago. I have to say PDF tracker, your products are getting better and better. I love them and recommend PDX Xchange viewer pro to all my friends and coworkers. I think that your product is far more advanced, only if used properly, than many other pdf packages ...

Proximity Searches

Can PDF exchange viewer pro perform proximity searches? For example, search for text where two words are within a specified distance from each other. If so, what would be a basic example in typing one into Xchange viewer's search field?

Alternative Technique to Creating "Custom Categories"

For anyone else who may be looking for this feature, their is a workaround. If you are like me, and have to frequently analyze multiple large documents, and want to establish a systematic method of grouping your research data using "custom categories", then here is what you would do. Open all of you...

Re: Ability to Categorize Comments

Hi chs200123, Are you referring to the Comments Pane when you say visual pane, and are you requesting to be able to group those comments by subject? If you change a sticky note's subject of an annotation they get grouped by annotation type and then it sounds like you'd like them sorted by subject? ...

Ability to Categorize Comments

The ability to assign categories, which could then be grouped in the visual pane, would be an invalueable addon for this program. Although a "subject" can be created under a comments properties, it cannot be sorted or filtered in the viewing pane.
