What is displayed on a signature is only that, the full details don't have to be displayed, and even now we can turn parts on and off. We just can't separate date and time.
Thanks

Document Signing
I raised this issue a long time ago (V4?) and said that I felt two additions would be very welcome: 1 an option for a "save to directory" when signing documents; and 2 The ability to separate date and time in the signature's displayed fields. As time is obviously inherent in date, I don't ...

Re: Define key for a signature from "Signatures and Initials
I don't want to take over this topic, but I have no requirement to batch multiple files. I just want to sign them one by one, and by the process of signing them move the document to another location.

Re: Define key for a signature from "Signatures and Initials
Hi Seeker45, A number of years ago I had a topic titled 'Document Signing' which I am still very interested in. As part of that post series (Apr 29 2014) a discussion evolved which was about a desire to not only simply sign documents but also to have some sort of process associated with the fact of ...

Re: Document Signing
Thanks for your reply. I think that a default save location for signed documents is a separate issue from last used location which is the location the file was opened from anyway, and the selection is presumably somewhat dynamic predicated by where ever the PDF document is launched from. Also, my l...

Re: Document Signing
Enjoying the new 3.307 version. I like the ability to sign documents and appreciate the work that has gone into the functionality. I still would like to be able to select a date format and decide whether I want to show the time but accept this is not available at this point. What would be extremely ...

Re: Document Signing
Yes, I know that, but that is not the request. I believe it would be useful for users to be able to define the date format they wish to display.
Thanks

Re: Document Signing
Thanks for the update. I am not sure that I agree with you about the date and time format. I have a product from ARX [arguably the gold standard in document signing] which allows me to format a date anyway I like. I believe the underlying information in the signature is unchanged, so the signed docu...

Document Lost
In my testing of the current build 306, I have experienced the following surprise after creating a 2 page document: 1 - Open the document, delete current page. Page 2 shows as expected in editor. Save this page, only a blank document is saved. 2 - If I extract the second page, then save the document...

Document Signing
Editor V3.0.305 Is it possible to add extra reasons for signing? Is it possible to change the date format and the time format? Using a time stamp server (internal time server [https://host.internal-domain.com) fails. Is this expecting some other format? Is it possible to get the SignDocument Icon on...

Re: Digital Signing
Hi Tom,
Because this would not lock the document from changes. However perhaps I can manage this on a temporary basis. As per my previous post, will the feature eventually be incorporated along the lines of how i worded my requirement?
thanks
Robert

Re: Digital Signing
Thanks for the quick response. If it is of interest my goal would be to have a Stamp Tool which I had set up as a Signing tool. I could have my credentials saved and only would need to supply the reason I was signing any document. I should be able to use a jpg file as the signing image. I would not ...

Digital Signing
Is it possible to open a previously created pdf fdocument and digitally sign it? My quote preparation system prepares a pdf file which I need to sign. It seems I need to print the document again to get a digital signature?
Is this possible with another tool?
Any help / tips appreciated.
